General Piercing Aftercare

🔹 Clean your piercing 1-2 times a day.
🔹 Always wash your hands before touching your piercing or jewelry.
🔹 Use antibacterial soap, gently clean the jewelry and remove any hardened lymph fluid, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
🔹 Check daily to ensure the balls on threaded jewelry are tight.
🔹 A white or yellow discharge is normal during the healing process.
🔹 If you notice signs of infection, contact a doctor.
🔹 Do not move or play with your new piercing, as it may cause irritation.

Special Aftercare for Oral Piercings

🔹 Follow the standard aftercare instructions for the external part of the piercing.
🔹 For the inside of the mouth, rinse with an alcohol-free antiseptic mouthwash 3-5 times daily.
🔹 Always rinse your mouth after eating or drinking.
🔹 Swelling may last for 2-7 days. You can reduce it by consuming cold food/drinks and taking anti-inflammatory medication.
🔹 Avoid spicy foods, hot drinks, and alcohol for the first week.
🔹 A white or yellow discharge is normal during healing.
🔹 Do not use peroxide or alcohol on your piercing.
🔹 Avoid moving or playing with your new piercing, as it may cause irritation.
🔹 If an infection occurs, consult a doctor immediately.
